These Terms govern your use of the TryBet mobile application and related services. By creating an account or placing a bet you agree to these Terms. This is an operational draft for closed testing and store listing; final wording should be confirmed by counsel.

1. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old and legally entitled to gamble in South Africa.
• You must pass age and identity checks we require before certain wallet or betting actions.
• One account per person. Accounts are not transferable.

2. The service

TryBet offers pool-style sports betting. Pool outcomes, multiples, and payouts depend on stakes in the pool and house rules (including commission and any seed). Displayed figures are estimates until a pool settles.

3. Wallet, deposits, and withdrawals

• Deposits and withdrawals are processed by our payment partners (including Ozow) subject to their terms and bank/processing delays.
• We may apply minimum/maximum limits and hold withdrawals pending KYC or fraud checks.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of banking details you provide.

4. Betting rules

• Bets are accepted only while a pool is open for entries.
• Once placed, bets generally cannot be cancelled.
• Settled results follow our published event result and pool settlement process. Obvious errors may be voided or corrected.

5. Responsible gambling

Gambling can be harmful. Set limits you can afford. If you need help, seek local responsible-gambling resources. We may suspend accounts that appear to be at risk or in breach of law.

6. Prohibited conduct

You must not cheat, collude, use bots/automation to abuse pools, launder money, or reverse-engineer our systems. We may suspend or close accounts and withhold funds where required by law or these Terms.

7. Intellectual property

TryBet branding, app software, and content remain our property or that of our licensors. You receive a limited licence to use the app for personal, lawful betting.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, TryBet is not liable for losses from network outages, third-party payment failures, or force majeure. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under South African law.

9. Account closure

You may request account deactivation in-app or via support@trybet.app. We retain records as required by gambling and AML law — see our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms where permitted by law.
